My extended family just took a cruise in the Caribbean. We had a total of 8 iPhones and 3 Apple Watches among us. All of our phones and watches were in Airplane mode the entire time, yet somehow some of the phones and watches would automatically adjust to the correct time zone, while others would never auto adjust time zones. Make sure that Set Automatically is turned off, then choose a time zone. Apple Watch: Set the time zone on the iPhone that is paired with your Apple Watch. Apple TV: Go to Settings > General > Time Zone. Make sure that Set Automatically is turned off, then choose a time zone. Mac: Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Date & Time 3. Disable the automatic timezone setting. Tap the green "Set Automatically" switch in the middle of the page, then wait for the switch to turn white. Choose "Edit the Widget," and it lets you change the time zone. To change your time zone, log in to iCloud.com and go to Settings and click your region under Time Zone/Region – this only affects your calendar.
